Often one of the hardest pieces to find is a mid-century bed, especially if looking for King sized. I source MCM beds from Vancouver and all over the lower mainland. My favourite style is the classic danish modern bed with floating bedside tables. These pieces are incredibly functional and stylish and a perfect addition to your bedroom. Many are so well designed that they come together or are taken apart without even a single tool needed. Having a vintage headboard or bed frame also gives a nice warmth to your room in a world where we so often start with white and grey tones. One thing of note is many of the MCM vintage frames are a lower profile then more modern beds and often a custom foam thinner mattress is better then modern extra thick pillow top mattresses that are 2' thick or more. These mattresses still work but often obscure more of the headboard and design features of the bedframe.
